Concert Listings February 7 - 13

FREE Monday Noon Music UofA every Monday at noon in Convocation Hall.   A different program each week, the Monday Noon Music series features everything from western classical to world music. This quick 45-minute concert leaves you just enough time to get back to class or the office before the noon hour’s even over. Don't forget your lunch!

McDougall United Church Richard Sparks, conductor. Urmas Sisask's Gloria Patri, 24 settings of latin texts and Ligeti's Lux Aeterna, written for 16 voices which came to fame when Stanley Kubrick used it in his movie, 2001 - A Space Odyssey. Join Marg Daly, Master of Musicology, for pre-concert talks beginning 45 minutes prior to each performance. Music inspired by the wonders of the universe - some will also be accompanied by photos from the Hubble telescope.
