Thursday April 21, 2011 8pm Lafayette String Quartet with Tanya Prochazka, cello. String quartets by Haydn and Beethoven, string quintet in C by Schubert. Convocation Hall, UofA. Tickets at door, $30 and $15.

Friday April 22, 2011, 7:30 pm Pro Coro: Good Friday at the Winspear Enmax Hall, Winspear Centre Richard Sparks, conductor. J.S. Bach: the Passion according to St. John. Join Marg Daly, Master of Musicology, for pre-concert talks beginning 45 minutes prior to each performance.

Friday April 29, 2011 7pm Ubuntu - Edmonton Children's Choir with Guelph Youth Singers (Ontario) and Storyteller Bethany Ellis. Benefit concert for THE GANG (Grandmothers of Alberta for a New Generation) in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundations' Grandmother to Grandmother campaign. Saturday April 30, 2011 7:30pm Mikado, Gilbert and Sullivan, presented in concert form. A fundraiser for Japan. Admission by donation. All proceeds will be donated through the Presbyterian World Service and Development Fund. All donations will receive a tax receipt. First Presbyterian Church 10025 105th Street.
